American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and pelvic health expertise for a hospital-based ambulatory clinic.

• Position is based in an outpatient, hospital-based ambulatory clinic
• Primary focus on pelvic health for female (required) and male (preferred) patients, with orthopedic coverage as needed
• Patient caseload averages 11 patients daily
• Referrals come primarily from urology and OBGYN providers
• Clinic also supports orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, neurological, lymphedema, and pelvic health patients
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5x8 shifts
• Weekend work may be required as needed
• No on-call required
• May float to surrounding outpatient clinics based on need
• Cerner EMR is used for charting and experience is required
• Business casual attire is required
• Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating pelvic health and orthopedic patients in an outpatient setting
• Work in a supportive environment within a teaching, Level IV trauma hospital
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• RTO beyond 5 days or during holidays requires unit manager approval
• Work two out of three main holidays; no time off during the first week of assignment due to orientation
• No local candidates will be accepted
• Return travelers must have not worked at the facility for at least 12 months and are ineligible if they canceled a prior contract within 10 days of start date
• Free parking is available onsite
• Completion of orientation modules required during the first week
• Adherence to quality and patient safety standards is expected

• Current Arizona PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Active BLS certification from American Heart Association required
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience
• Specialized experience in pelvic health is required
• Must be comfortable treating both female and, preferably, male pelvic health diagnoses
• Ability to float to affiliated outpatient clinics if necessary
• Two professional references are required prior to consideration, with at least one from the most recent employer within the past year
