If you are below the age of eighteen (18) or the age of majority and are legally permitted to work in your jurisdiction, you assert that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to this Agreement on your behalf. It is prohibited to use our Services if your previous usage has been suspended or terminated by Grocery Store Jobs, unless we grant you explicit written permission to reinstate access.

Utilizing our Services: you affirm, consent to, and request that this document, along with any other documents employed or signed between Grocery Store Jobs and yourself, be exclusively presented in the English language.

Telephone or SMS Communication: While utilizing specific Services, we may seek your approval to contact you via telephone, including SMS. To cease receiving SMS messages from Grocery Store Jobs, you can reply with “STOP” to any received SMS. Consent for telephone communication is not obligatory for utilizing the Services or making purchases from Grocery Store Jobs.

You agree that we have the option, although not the obligation, to monitor or record your telephone conversations with us for purposes of quality control, employee training, and our own security. You acknowledge that not all telephone lines or calls will be recorded, and we cannot guarantee the retention or retrieval of specific call recordings.

Email Communication: By providing your email address to Grocery Store Jobs, you grant permission for us to utilize this email address to send communications related to our Service and other non-commercial notifications. These communications may include legally required notices, replacing the need for postal mail. Your email address may also be used for additional messages, such as updates to Service features and special offers (as allowed by applicable laws in your jurisdiction). If you have agreed to receive email job alerts or promotional communications from us, we will continue sending these communications until you choose to opt out. To stop receiving job alert emails and/or promotional communications, you can exercise your right to opt out or modify preferences on your Account page. You can also follow the opt-out/unsubscribe instructions in the email or request to be unsubscribed by emailing: support@hiringindemand.com. Please note that opting out may prevent you from receiving emails about updates, improvements, or offers.

Please note that while you can opt out of promotional messages and email job alerts, you cannot opt out of service-related communications, including those about security, legal notices, your account, your use of our Services, billing, and other essential matters, unless you deactivate your account and cease using our Services.

User Account Guidelines: This section pertains to all user accounts. Upon signing up or creating an account with Grocery Store Jobs, you can manage your profile information and interaction with our services through your settings page. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account or updating information. You are solely accountable for the activity associated with your account.

Be cautious when accessing your account from a shared or public computer to prevent unauthorized access to your password or personal information. Your account is for your individual use only; sharing access to our services using your login credentials is prohibited. You must promptly inform us of any unauthorized use or security breach related to your account. Even with notification, you remain fully responsible for all actions taken under your account.

We retain the right to deactivate or terminate your account or any associated identifiers, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at any time and for any reason, including violations of our Terms of Use.

By using third-party services to access our services, you grant us permission to access, use, and store your information from that service in accordance with their terms. If you access our services through a social networking site, you consent to Grocery Store Jobs accessing, storing, and making available information from your social networking account. We are not liable for any personal data shared with us in violation of your privacy settings on the respective social networking site.

Grocery Store Jobs reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to our services at any time and for any reason, including breaches of this Agreement. Upon termination, all sections of this Agreement shall remain in effect, except those granting access to our services. We are not liable for any termination, suspension of access, account deletion, or related consequences.

Guidelines for Using the Service

As a user, you commit to refraining from the subsequent activities:

  1. Unauthorized duplication, distribution, or revelation of any Service component.
  2. Deployment of automated systems overwhelming our servers with requests.
  3. Transmission of spam, unsolicited messages, or endeavors to compromise system integrity or security.
  4. Actions causing undue strain on our infrastructure, uploading harmful data, or software through the Services.
  5. Unsanctioned collection or harvesting of identifiable information.
  6. Exploitation of the Services for commercial solicitation, impersonation, or misrepresented affiliations.
  7. Disturbance of proper Service functioning or utilization of unapproved methods to access the Services.
  8. Bypassing access restrictions, unauthorized sharing of login details, reverse engineering our Services, or framing/linking to our content.
  9. Submission of false, inaccurate, or offensive content.

Grocery Store Jobs reserves the prerogative to define offensive material.

User-Generated Content and User Responsibilities

A. Provision and Visibility of User Content

The Services may allow Users to contribute content viewable by other Users. This includes, but isn't confined to, Job Advertisements, screening conditions, inquiries, Grocery Store Jobs details, job seeker application data, messages, resumes, logos, trademarks, comments, queries, and more ("User Content").

The responsibility for User Content rests solely with the contributor. You are fully accountable for your User Content and its consequences when shared or posted.

Restrictions on User Content

The ensuing provisions explicitly prohibit certain types of User Content. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. You agree not to post User Content that:

  1. Puts individuals or property at risk.
  2. Provides guidance on illicit activities.
  3. Facilitates unwanted or unsolicited communications, including phishing or scams.
  4. Links to illicit or offensive material, targets minors, or requests personal data from those under 18.
  5. Contains content we deem unlawful, abusive, offensive, defamatory, infringing, invasive of privacy or rights, harassing, libelous, threatening, or objectionable.
  6. Features information that is illegal or reveals insider data, trade secrets, or another's rights.
  7. Disseminates content you lack the legal right to share due to law, contract, or duty.
  8. Includes deceptive, misleading, or false information.
  9. Infringes upon Intellectual Property Rights or privacy rights of a third party.

For this Agreement, "Intellectual Property Rights" means various rights including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and more. Clients providing Job Advertisements agree not to include personally identifiable information.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

You acknowledge Grocery Store Jobs does not guarantee third-party content, like messages, Job Advertisements, and resumes. Grocery Store Jobs is a conduit for User Content and doesn't verify accuracy, legality, or completeness. Thus, Grocery Store Jobs isn't liable for User Content. Exposure to inaccurate, misleading, illegal, or inappropriate User Content is possible, and verifying content accuracy, legality, and quality is your responsibility. Relying on User Content is at your risk.

Despite this, Grocery Store Jobs reserves the right to refuse, remove, or suspend User Content and related Accounts violating this Agreement, additional agreements, laws, third-party rights, or causing potential harm.

Acknowledgment of Risk in User Interactions

As a User, hereafter referred to as "You," you recognize and agree that Grocery Store Jobs holds no obligation or capacity to authenticate the identity or credibility of each User. Verifying Users' authenticity is not within Grocery Store Jobs's responsibilities. Thus, it is your responsibility to conduct proper research before engaging in communication or interaction with other Users, including but not limited to job seekers, employers, recruitment agencies, and consultants.

You willingly take on all associated risks when interacting with any User on the platform. Should any dispute or issue arise with another User, you commit to directly seeking resolution from the relevant User.

By accepting these terms, you hereby release and absolve Grocery Store Jobs, its subsidiaries, their employees, directors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, and damages of any nature, including tangible, consequential, direct, or indirect damages, whether acknowledged or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, disclosed or hidden, to the maximum extent permissible by law.

Disclosure of User Content and Relevant Information

Grocery Store Jobs retains the discretionary right to disclose User Content and pertinent information about the provider of said User Content to third parties. This disclosure is in the context of operating and furnishing our Services, to enforce the terms of any agreement with you, to fulfill legal obligations, and to respond to requests from governmental bodies, law enforcement agencies, court orders, subpoenas, or equivalent legal procedures.

Additionally, as required to safeguard Grocery Store Jobs's interests, such information may be disclosed. To eliminate any ambiguity, by accepting these terms, you acknowledge that we possess the right to reveal your identity to a third party alleging that any User Content you have posted, supplied, or uploaded is fraudulent, false, misleading, violates the law, infringes on their intellectual property or ownership rights, or invades their right to privacy.

User Content License Grant

By making User Content accessible, you grant Grocery Store Jobs a non-exclusive, transferable, global, royalty-free, sublicensable, perpetual license for reproducing, adapting, displaying, performing, selling, translating, and creating derivative works from said User Content. This license remains effective even after you cease using the Services and encompasses the right to distribute your User Content within the Grocery Store Jobs network, job alerts, and promotional materials.

For Clients, it's acknowledged that Grocery Store Jobs might not be able to remove your content, such as Job Advertisements, logos, or trademarks, once they have been disseminated or included in search results, alerts, or fixed media displays. In such cases, the granted license will be perpetual and irrevocable.

This license also allows Grocery Store Jobs to utilize your trademarks, trade names, service marks, or service names in promotional materials to identify you as a Services User. Additionally, if you grant Grocery Store Jobs access to User Content on another site or service under your control, you allow Grocery Store Jobs to extract content from said site, irrespective of scraping restrictions.

When authorizing Grocery Store Jobs to send automated invitations or User Content on your behalf, you grant Grocery Store Jobs a license to utilize your name, likeness, and Grocery Store Jobs information in such communications.

You confirm possessing the necessary rights and authority to grant these rights to your User Content, assuring that its use by Grocery Store Jobs adheres to laws and doesn't infringe on any third party's rights. Furthermore, you affirm that all information you provide is lawful, complete, and accurate.

Job Seeker Terms and Conditions

For those seeking job opportunities, the Services grant you the ability to:

  1. Explore job openings,
  2. Submit job applications,
  3. Receive job alerts,
  4. Upload your resume to a database, and
  5. Engage in video calls or interviews with potential employers.

In this Agreement, "resume" or "CV" also encompasses profiles, references, and similar summaries of qualifications.

Upon creating a Grocery Store Jobs account, providing your resume, or subscribing to Job Alerts, you grant permission for us to use your information to send job-related communications and to display your resume and profile details (unless marked as private) to prospective employers.

If you allow us to share your resume and additional information with potential employers, recruiters, or staffing agencies, you thereby grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license (including sub-licensing rights) over any rights, including intellectual property rights, in your resume and any other information you provide. This license enables us to share and use your resume and additional information as necessary to provide our services.

General Job Applications

By applying to a Job Advertisement through the Services, you authorize us to store and share your information, including your resume/CV, with the job advertiser.

You have the option to submit your Job Application through various methods, including third-party accounts like Facebook or LinkedIn. In such cases, your profile, resume, and other information from these accounts will be shared with the job advertiser.

Submitting a Job Application involves sharing your resume and relevant details with the job advertiser. Please ensure all provided information is accurate and suitable for sharing.

Grocery Store Jobs cannot guarantee that job advertisers will flawlessly receive, view, respond to, or handle your applications or messages. Any screener questions are determined by the job advertiser.

Applying to Job Advertisements on Grocery Store Jobs

When applying through a Grocery Store Jobs website, your associated resume will be sent if specific criteria are met.

If logged out of your account, whether manually or automatically, we will send a verification email to confirm your identity before forwarding your resume.

NOTE: Keeping your resume updated and accurate is your responsibility. To edit or upload a new resume, access your account's Profile settings. Despite requesting confidentiality from companies, Grocery Store Jobs cannot ensure that your information will remain confidential or secure.

Account Creation

A Grocery Store Jobs account will be automatically generated under the following circumstances if you don't already have one:

(a) When you sign up for job alerts,

(b) When you apply for a job on a Grocery Store Jobs website.

Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing your username and a link to confirm your email or set/reset your password. The account will be linked to your email address and the resume associated with your action. Please ensure your resume is current before applying for a Job Advertisement.

If you do not desire a Grocery Store Jobs account, kindly contact support@hiringindemand.com or delete your account through your account settings.

Job Alerts

You can choose to receive job alerts via email or SMS. Upon applying for Job Advertisements on a Grocery Store Jobs website or creating an account, you may agree to receive job alerts relevant to your chosen role. To subscribe to SMS job alerts, provide your phone number in the Mobile Alerts section of your User Account. Job alert preferences can be adjusted through the Job Alerts tab in your User Account. Unsubscribing from job alerts can be done by following the instructions in the alert email or SMS.

Resume Database Functionality

Grocery Store Jobs provides a feature called the Resume Database, which enables job seekers to store their resume/CV and profile information within the Service. If you choose to set your resume/CV as 'public', it will become part of the Resume Database. This means that your resume/CV and profile information, including personal details, can be searched, viewed, and downloaded by parties with access to the Database. Additionally, your resume/CV will be partially visible to Clients who have active job advertisements for purposes like candidate invitations or evaluations.

By including your resume/CV, you consent to Grocery Store Jobs using elements of your resume or application materials to match with Job Advertisements or recruiter searches. This allows us to present relevant resumes to potential employers or recruiters and send you information about potential job opportunities.

If you opt to keep your resume/CV private, it will not be added to the Database. You have the flexibility to adjust this setting at any time, though information previously accessed and saved by others will remain accessible to them.

Interactions, Confidentiality, and Due Diligence

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Users. Engaging with unfamiliar individuals who may misrepresent themselves involves risks, including potential physical harm. Therefore, only share contact information on your User Profile, Job Application, or resume/CV if you are comfortable with Clients and other Users having access to it.

Conducting your own due diligence on potential employers and Job Advertisements is crucial. As previously stated, Grocery Store Jobs does not verify Users or guarantee the legitimacy of Job Advertisements.

Grocery Store Jobs's Liability

The Website serves as a platform for employers to post job openings and candidates to post resumes, without undergoing screening or censorship. Grocery Store Jobs does not participate in transactions between employers and candidates, and thus, we have no control over the quality, safety, or legality of jobs or resumes, or the accuracy of listings.

Given the inherent risks of online interactions, including the potential for individuals misrepresenting themselves, users assume all risks associated with interactions on the Website. In case of disputes with other users, Grocery Store Jobs is released from any claims, demands, or damages, as we cannot ensure user authenticity.

The Website's content may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes to the Website are made periodically at Grocery Store Jobs's discretion. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their resumes or materials, and employers are responsible for their job postings.

Grocery Store Jobs does not guarantee error-free operation of the Website and is not liable for any costs resulting from equipment or data servicing or replacement due to Website use. The Website and its content are provided "as is" without any warranties, whether express or implied. Grocery Store Jobs disclaims all warranties, including those of accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose.

Disclaimer of Consequential Damages and Links to Other Sites

Under no circumstances shall Grocery Store Jobs, its suppliers, or third parties mentioned on the Website be liable for damages, including incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption due to Website use or inability to use it.
