Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) Location: Havasu Regional Medical Center, Lake Havasu City, AZ Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Job Summary: Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) team. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the IMC, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care when necessary
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state eligibility
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent IMC or step-down experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with diverse teams
