Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with active or pending California licensure and acute care experience for a day shift position in an acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital physical therapy unit
- Day shift schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Regular weekend shifts are required
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- Modules are completed through e-learning during orientation with varying hours based on specialty
- Only one holiday will be approved for requested time off
- Return staff must be gone at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must be available for required lab work within 3-5 days of offer
- Local candidates accepted at local rate, subject to a 50 mile radius requirement
Requirements
- Current California PT license required (license required if applicable); candidates with CA license pending may be considered
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
- Weekend availability is required
- Must provide copy of current certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
- 2 professional references obtained within the last year are required
