Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and strong proficiency in trauma CT procedures, working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department
• Perform routine and specialized CT procedures, including trauma cases and stroke protocol such as CTA Head and Perfusion studies
• Night shifts, 4x10 hours (Monday through Thursday), 20:30 to 07:00, with no weekends
• No on-call requirement; call-back available on a volunteer basis
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Competently perform CT procedures to produce quality diagnostic images and ensure safe, precise patient care
• Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members is essential
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Modules are completed during orientation and are recorded through e-learning
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
• A 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted but at a local pay rate
• Returning travelers must have a break of at least one year before returning
• Scrub color or dress code details not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) certification required
• Current CA CRT and CA Fluoroscopy certification required
• Experience with trauma patients and stroke protocol is required
• Must hold a valid California license (license required if applicable)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
