Unit: Cath Lab, EP and IR - RN
3 suites Cath/ EP, 1 suite for Complex IR
8-10 cases per day
Required Certifications BLS, ACLS, PALS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cath lab- L&R interventional and diagnostic, implants, pacers, STEMIs ect, Balloon Pump, Impella, ECMO, shockwaves- rotablader EP- EP studies, diagnostics, ablations, watchmans, TAVR etc Trauma- ebmolization, peripheral cases IR- complex more in depth intervention, embolize bleed Neuro- Cerebral aneurysms, diagnostics, thrombectomies, rotoblade, coils, etc. Job Duties: Circulate, no scrub required. Moderate sedation. patient teaching. transporting patient to and from original departmet. All other medication administration. Equipment set up of Balloon Pump, Impella and Rotablade. Good communication and rapport with interventionalist and other relevant staff in the hospital. Practices hand-off and SBAR.
