American Traveler is seeking a Speech Therapist with at least one year of hospital experience and a current BLS certification for a 13-week rehabilitation care assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a rehabilitation care unit within a hospital setting
- Responsible for evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation for patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders
- Contract assignment duration is 13 weeks
- Responsible for developing and implementing new or ongoing programs to enhance the department
- Must maintain active BLS certification throughout the assignment
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
- Workplace Violence Prevention certification (can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC resource) required
- License required if applicable
