Job Description & RequirementsUnit Summary – Mother Baby/Pediatrics Beds: 5 GYN/Peds, 11 Mother Baby Certs: BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS Ratios: 1:4 (Couplets & Peds/GYN) EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: Yes, no assignment Nurse Aides: None Shifts: 12 hrs; EOW; holidays per rotation Scrubs: Navy Blue Tele: Pediatric only Vents: No Support: OB/GYN in-house, IV team (day), RT & Pharmacy 24/7 Float: To Pediatrics Orientation: 3 shifts Patient Types: Vag/C-section, antepartum, hysterectomy, GYN, Peds (asthma, appy, fever, fractures) Notes: Locked, baby-friendly unit. Peds & Mother Baby preferred; Mother Baby only acceptable.
