Job Details:
Provides technical services and support duties in the areas of invasive diagnostic, interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
The incumbent operates and is accountable for sophisticated, expensive, computerized equipment in providing quality patient care, resulting in accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart disease.
The incumbent performs patient care duties associated with invasive procedures while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort on all cases.
Requirements:
ARDMS or RDCS
BLS 2 years
Shift Details: 5x8s Days between 0700-1530 and 0900-1730; On call until 2100 after each shift; every 3rd weekend required
Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RDCS, either RDCS or ARDMS
Skills: 2- D Echo, 3- D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Diastology, ER, ICU, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Isolation Precautions, LV Strain/LV Volume, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Philips, Portable Studies, Procedures on patients in ICU/ED settings, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area, Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT), Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT), Routine, Simpson s Rule, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo
