Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent specialty experience, ARRT certification, and Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital CT Scan department
- Night 12-hour overnight shifts
- Responsibilities include performing general CAT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, pediatric exams, and trauma patients
- Performs post-processing and CTA procedures
- Uses Epic EMR system for charting
- Duties include minimizing radiation exposure and maintaining high-quality imaging standards
- Involvement in orientation and training of new team members and students
- Team meetings and participation in departmental planning are expected
- May handle medications and have access to secured drug storage areas
- Demonstrates leadership by coordinating radiology care across different settings
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification and CT certification required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Associate's Degree required
- Must demonstrate effective communication, problem solving, and independent judgment skills
- Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- AHA certifications must be current and not expire before start date
- Radiation badges must be supplied
- Active license required if applicable
