Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with no call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float to other departments when cath lab is slow
• Provide highly technical professional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist physicians in performance of procedures and operation of technical equipment
• Prepare room and equipment, instruct patients, and monitor patient condition during procedures
• Function with minimal supervision in a team environment
• Handle emergency situations during high-risk procedures with calm, professional demeanor
• Operate sophisticated procedural equipment including x-ray camera, procedure table controls, image processing equipment, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, ultrasound machine, and power injector
• Required certifications: RCIS or ARRT certification and registration, ACLS, BLS
• 2 years of significant Cath Lab experience preferred
• Must obtain computer skills within 90 days for online learning requirements
• Working knowledge of English language required
• Care for patients aged 18 and older including young adults, middle-aged adults, and geriatric populations
• Physical demands include frequent lifting up to 35 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Must be HIPAA compliant
