Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience for a day shift hospital assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an acute care hospital setting
- Department: Physical Therapy
- Day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week travel contract
- Responsibilities include providing evaluation and treatment to patients within the hospital Physical Therapy department
- Complete application, US SSN with DOB, and a full candidate profile are required for consideration
- State Board License Verification and copies of applicable certifications must be submitted
- Scrubs or appropriate professional attire required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or hospital setting
- At least 6 months of relevant experience within the last 6 months is required
- No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Active Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Current certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) and valid through at least the first 30 days of assignment
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
