Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring prior travel experience and a Florida PT license.

Responsibilities

Outpatient rehabilitation center specializing in orthopedic, neurological, and balance disorders
Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 8-hour day shifts
No on-call requirements
Potential float to other outpatient rehab locations within 15-20 minutes as needed
Uses Epic for electronic medical records
Patient caseload may include a mix of ortho, neuro, and vestibular conditions
Strict 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, balance, and vestibular conditions
Travelers are welcomed and expected to function as core staff
Orientation involves remote onboarding and in-person badge/ID pickup on a Friday
Must be flexible and willing to float to sister campus locations if needed
All schedule requests must be submitted prior to offer; changes are not allowed after submission
Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided upon assignment
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting
Prior travel physical therapy experience is required
Active Florida Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
Current BLS certification required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Strong clinical skills to treat a diverse patient mix
