Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist with proven pelvic health experience for an adult outpatient rehab setting, Monday–Friday day shift.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult outpatient rehabilitation clinic
• Focus on pelvic health patient population including incontinence, constipation, pregnancy-related back or pelvic pain, and postpartum issues
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with 8-hour day shifts
• Provide therapy services including gait training, functional mobility, therapeutic exercises, and oxygen titration
• EMR is EPIC; familiarity is preferred
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• A 50-mile radius rule applies to eligibility
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating adult patients in medical, surgical, and intermediate care units
• Recommend post-acute care based on therapy needs
• Compliance with FL ACHA processing, which may take up to 14 business days, is required
• No requested time off allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 8 days of time off allowed during a 13-week assignment
• A unit manager interview will be part of the consideration process
• A specialty skills checklist and two recent references (one from a supervisor or charge RN) are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active FL PT license required if applicable
• Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Therapy required
• Pelvic health experience is required and must be reflected in work history
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Outpatient care experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
