NICU Nurse Practitioner
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a NICU Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening in Southwest Florida.
Daily Responsibilities for the NICU Nurse Practitioner:
- The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) collaborates with physicians to oversee the care of high-risk newborns and infants, particularly those with life-threatening or complex conditions that demand continuous observation.
- NNPs offer hands-on care by conducting physical exams, reviewing test results, diagnosing health issues, and maintaining detailed patient records through EMR.
- NNPs carry out medical procedures within their expertise and training, ensuring that critically ill infants receive the best possible care.
- Shift: 24 hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Required Qualifications for the NICU Nurse Practitioner:
- Masters Degree
- 2+ years of experience as an NP in the NICU
