Travel Respiratory Therapist – Atlanta, GA
Assignment: 13 weeks | Start Date: 11/3 | Shift: 12-hour Days | Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Friday–Sunday | 36 Hours/Week | Holidays Required | No On-Call

Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This role is based in the Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services department and involves providing comprehensive respiratory therapy in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy

• Required Certifications:

  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS

  • RRT certification (NBRC)

• Licensure (State of Georgia):

  1. Credentialed as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

  2. Must hold RRT credentials as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) from the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners (CPAP Department only)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective respiratory care to patients across all acuity levels

• Provide respiratory support including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care

• Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures and support patient evaluations

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
