Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract with proficiency in General, Vascular, OB/GYN, and Echo modalities and flexibility to cover all shifts.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic imaging setting covering both general and vascular ultrasound, OB/GYN, and echocardiography procedures
- Candidate may be required to work at multiple locations
- Patient population includes adults and OB/GYN cases
- Shifts are flexible, including day, evening, night, holidays, weekends, on-call, and overtime as needed
- On-call coverage requires being within 20 minutes of the hospital
- Potential to float to other nursing departments per facility needs
- Must participate in a two-day orientation including EMR training and facility onboarding
- Must be available to staff all shifts, including holidays and weekends
- Overtime and on-call shifts required as needed
- Facility may require coverage at both primary and satellite locations
- Candidate must comply with all hospital policies and attend scheduled orientation
- No COVID-19 vaccination required for assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recent ultrasound experience covering general, vascular, OB/GYN, and echocardiography
- Active relevant ARDMS credentials in General, Vascular, and Echo modalities
- Current BLS or BCLS certification required
- Ability to work independently across multiple ultrasound modalities
- State licensure required if applicable
