Overview

Responsible for development, implementation and support of all components of the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and complementary imaging systems.

  • Provide oversight and direction for software installation, configuration and upgrades.

  • Perform system operations, monitoring and maintenance.

  • Develop and conduct training for imaging informatics team members, subspecialists, super users, and providers.

  • Communicate and manage PACS downtime plan.

  • Develop and manage vendor relationships.

  • Develop, validate, document, and educate on Imaging processes and business continuity processes.

  • Act as key informatics resource on imaging-related capital projects.

  • Escalation point for technical, workflow, and integration issues.

  • Participate in call rotation as needed.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree

  • Experience: 4 years relevant experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: None
