Stand alone ER, all agesWhat areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.) Inpatient ERExperience or 'Must have' skills Open to first time travelers with ER experience if they have been 2 yearsPrefer free standing or CAH type experience as they will be the only one in house.Prefer Epic experienceJob Duties (i.e.: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.) ABGs- draw and analyze, EKGS, breathing Tx, BiPAP, CPAP, ventsAssist with tasks around ER for downtime, bring patients back, grab vitals and change over rooms, blood and urine collection to assist ER staff.Are RTs Required to be able to Intubate Independently or only to assist? Only assist physicianRespiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist? Chad managerShifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 12 hours, 630- 630 or 7-7 manager to make a schedule, core staff in patterns but travelers to fill in gaps.*Would they ever be the only RT in-house?* Mon, Tues, Saturday, Sun, Mon, Tues pattern, then repeat.Weekend Requirements at least every other weekend- if it falls within a patternHoliday Requirements yes, if falls within a pattern.Memorial day May 26th, and Labor Day Sept 1st (if during contract).
