We’re currently hiring in Burbank, Illinois to support a district in need of Registered Nurses. School Health Office RN Contract Details: -$39 – $42.50 an hour -13-week contracts

• Certified School Nurse needed for the rest of the 2024-25 school year for 35 hours a week.
• The Certified School Nurse will be providing nursing services to students in Special Education programs.
• School Nurse will need to be certified to be able to complete all IEP components including medical histories, care plans, etc.
  -Schedule follows the school district calendar
  -Nurse will be working in collaboration with the school interdisciplinary team and student guardian(s) to promote physical and emotional safety and wellness
  Duties will include but are not limited to:
  -Providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems
  -Conduct screenings and write referrals for health services or treatment
  -Maintaining Student Records while complying with state and federal screenings
  -Promoting education and wellness initiatives

Requirements:

• Illinois RN License
  -Registered Nurse is required to have a Professional Educator License certification as School Nurse through the Illinois State Board of Education.
  -American Heart Association BLS
  -Minimum of 1 year of prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting
