Job Description:

Currently, we’re hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Wheeling, Illinois. Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details: -$50-$54 an hour -13-week contracts -2024-2025 School Year

  • $3000 assignment bonus for new Supplemental Health Care employees
  • Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday
  • Start Date: March 2025
  • End Date: June 2025 with the option to extend
  • Assignment Details: In-person speech-language pathologist (SLP) needed for two elementary schools in Wheeling and Buffalo Grove. The caseload is approximately 40-45 students. The SLP would have another SLP working with them at each building who can help support their transition to the school district and help divide the caseload.
  • Location: Wheeling, IL
    -SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
    -SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
    -Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
    -May be asked to supervise assistants

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology
    • IL State License (IDFPR) and PEL from ISBE
      -American Heart Association BLS
      -School Experience is Preferred but not required
      -ASHA Certification
