Unit Information:Patient Population: Neuro Stepdown/Progressive Care patientsNurse-to-Patient Ratio:Progressive Care: 3-4:1Med-Surg (when floated): 4-5:1Bed Size: Variable based on unit needsEquipment Used: EPIC (EHR), PYXIS (med dispensing), Philips Defibrillator, Philips Bedside MonitorsDress Code: Caribbean blue scrubsRequired Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown nursingPrevious Neuro experience is requiredExperience with drip titration preferred; if not, flexibility to float to Med-Surg/Telemetry unitsMust have the ability to provide safe, effective care to neuro patients
