Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU night shift position requiring an IN or compact RN license and advanced cardiac life support certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Cardiovascular Thoracic Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
- Care for cardiac medical and surgical patients, including transplant cases
- Responsible for managing cardiac devices
- Handle a typical caseload of 2 ICU patients
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Expected to provide safe, comprehensive care for cardiac and transplant ICU patients
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Local candidates are accepted but will receive a reduced rate based on radius requirements
- All positions are offered on an auto-offer basis
- Two professional references and skills checklist are required for consideration
- RTO (requested time off) should be included with application materials
Requirements
- Active IN or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
