Shift & Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Float to ER as needed
- Every 3rd weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) required
- Holiday rotation based on assigned weekend schedule
- 36 guaranteed hours/week
- 15-week contract
Unit Information:
- Med Surg / Swing Bed unit
- Up to 12 beds (average census 3–6, may rise to 10 during COVID surges)
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4–5, with team nursing (floor RN + charge RN working closely)
- Swing bed patients common; typically 1–2 higher-acuity patients per shift
- Charge Nurse: Present and collaborative
Patient Population / Responsibilities:
- General med surg and swing bed patients
- Must be proficient in reading & interpreting EKG strips
- Occasional ER float coverage as needed
Requirements:
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all required)
- BSN: Not required
- Active RN license in state of assignment
Technology/Systems:
- EMR: Meditech 6.1

Scrub Color: Navy blue (no fleece allowed, but outerwear like North Face shell jackets acceptable)
