Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1.5 years of experience and active state licensure for a Home Health position.
Responsibilities
- This is a home health setting serving all age groups
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Uses Epic for electronic medical records
- Responsibilities include providing home health physical therapy care to a diverse patient population
- Must be able to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- Only 1 day off may be requested between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and between 12/23/25-1/2/26
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
- Returning employees may be subject to review based on recent employment history
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent physical therapy experience
- BLS certification required
- Active Iowa physical therapy license required if applicable
- Experience with all age groups preferred
- Home health experience is a plus
- Must provide a current skills checklist completed within the past year
- One supervisory reference from within the last two years required
