Job Description & RequirementsNumber of Beds : 12 LDRP, 2 C-section Suites, 3 Triage beds
· Patient Ratios : 1:1 during active labor/induction or cesarean section; 3:1 postpartum, 2:1 antepartum unless unstable
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : OB Surgical Tech staff that also function as unit secretary
· Type of equipment : GE Fetal Monitors and Novii II
· Documentation system: CPN – Centricity Perinatal/Meditech
· Scheduling requirements: 0545-1815/1745-0615
· On Call Requirements: None
· Floating policy: None
· Patient Experience requirements: Committed to understanding and learning about each individual families birth goals
Hospital Specifics-
· Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: Minimum 2 years labor experience, prefer some postpartum experience
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit: Vaginal Deliveries, Cesarean Sections, D & C, Jada placement
Certifications Required: See above under hospital specific
Dress Code: (Required uniform)
· Charcoal Grey Scrubs, or can wear hospital laundered unit grey scrubs
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
· CSIP Oxytocin Management

· Unit remodel completed in 2024, level II NICU, Labor & Delivery Services | Menorah Medical Center
