Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting with experience in orthopedics and the ability to manage a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient therapy clinic setting
• Patient population includes orthopedics, athletes, geriatrics, and cases focusing on gait and balance
• Typical caseload is 12-14 patients per day with expected double-booking of follow up visits
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week
• 8-hour day shifts with the expectation to work 36 to 40 hours per week
• No floating to other clinics required
• No on-call duties required
• Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating orthopedic, athletic, and geriatric patients
• Double-booking of follow up visits is expected to meet productivity
• No floating or on-call responsibilities
• Candidates living within 50 miles are considered local
• OT must be approved by the director prior to working extra hours

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Outpatient experience preferred
• Open to new grads and first-time travelers
