Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN – 12-Hour Days Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center | 340-bed hospital Contract Length: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Shift: 12-Hour Days (07:00 – 19:30) Weekly Hours: 36 GSA hours/week Scrub Colors: TBD Position Details Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Lab On-Call Requirement: Yes – 6 to 8 days per 6-week schedule Float: To be determined Weekends/Holidays: Required as needed per call schedule Minimum Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience specifically in a Cardiac Cath Lab Licensure: KY RN license or Compact State RN license Certifications: AHA BLS AHA ACLS NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Charting System: EPIC experience required Ideal Candidate Traits Independent, strong clinical judgment in a high-acuity setting Resilient and able to adapt well to change Effective communicator and team player Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Call Back potential exists during on-call shifts No guaranteed hours during orientation week Guaranteed hours resume after orientation except during holidays if the unit is closed
