RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day or evening shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per night position
• Support main Bramhall campus and MFT 1 Pre-Post operations
• Weekend schedule includes every other Saturday day shift
• Every other weekend call requirements with rotating call schedule
• Must float to Bramhall PACU/IMC/ICU as needed
• Patient ratios: 2:1 Phase 1 Care (up to 3-4 patients in 23-hour stay)
• Work with 40 pre-post beds and 9 overnight bays with 23-hour short stay embedded unit
• Minimum 3 years PACU experience with recent experience required
• ICU experience and Trauma Level 1 experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform groin management
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, arterial lines, telemetry monitoring, TEE/CV
• Handle pre and post procedure TEE/CV/CATH/EP/OR procedures
• Manage cardiac drips, IVs, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs
• Care for patients undergoing Cath/EP/TEE cardioversion, OR procedures, vascular procedures, robotic TAVRS, and pediatric CATHs
• Complete online education modules and unit orientation as needed
• Use Epic EMR system
• Dress code requires scrubs (any color), fragrance-free environment
• No artificial nails or cell phone use during work
