Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques. The ideal candidate will review requisitions for completeness, verify patient information, and adjust equipment to achieve proper radiographic exposure.

Responsibilities

Perform CT scanning procedures of various organs to localize sites of pathological processes.
Select appropriate technical factors and protocols for each CT scan procedure.
Document the administration of contrast and scan procedures into the Cerner system.
Complete screening and consent forms in a timely manner.
Ensure optimal quality images by utilizing standard positioning techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 2 years of CT experience; first-time travelers will be considered.
Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced Certification.
Active Maryland license or Compact license required at the time of submission.
Experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction is essential.
Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies.
