Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse to work in a Med/Surg Telemetry Certified Stroke Center. The successful candidate will primarily care for neuro-related patients while also supporting other telemetry patient populations, allowing the nurse to expand their skill set.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neuro and telemetry patients.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and intervene as necessary.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
- Support hospital needs by floating to other units as required.
- 2 years of neurology and Med/Surg telemetry nursing experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification required.
- Prior charge experience preferred.
- Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
- Basic EKG testing required and provided by the agency.
