Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). Every other weekend and holiday required. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Job DescriptionSeeking a skilled Neuro Med/Surg Tele Nurse to join a certified stroke center and Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. The role includes caring for patients with neuro-related diagnoses as well as supporting telemetry overflow for diverse patient populations.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to neuro and telemetry patients.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
- Utilize telemetry equipment for patient monitoring.
- Support interdisciplinary team efforts for optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to other units as necessary to meet hospital needs.
- Minimum of 2 years in Neurology and MS/Tele experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification.
- Basic EKG skills (training provided).
- Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
