**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a day shift position. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry setting. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focusing on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide nursing care to patients on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and administering medications and treatments as needed.
- Manage multiple patients (up to 5 per nurse), ensuring comprehensive assessment and intervention for medical and surgical needs.
- Perform EKGs, administer blood products, and manage IV therapies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Float to lower acuity areas as required.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and isolation precautions.

**Requirements:**
- Active Maryland RN license or Compact License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI.
- Proficient in telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and cardiac drips management.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
- Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations.
- Must be comfortable floating to various units based on patient care needs.

**Work Schedule:**
- 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30.
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.

**Patient Population:**
- Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics experiencing conditions such as dysrhythmias, strokes, and postoperative recovery.

**Unit Information:**
- 47-bed unit with a focus on cardiac telemetry care.
- Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams.
