Job Description
Position OverviewThis is a 13-week contract position under general supervision, providing direct patient care to assigned patients in an intensive care unit (ICU).
Responsibilities- Developing and implementing a nursing plan of care for assigned patients.
- Evaluating the outcomes of nursing interventions.
- Demonstrating proficiency in effective nursing care.
- Delivering excellent patient experience and service recovery.
- Utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
- Managing multiple priorities effectively through strong planning and organizational skills.
- Applying analytical skills and computer program proficiency in the care setting.
- 2 years of recent ICU experience - REQUIRED.
- Completion of NIHSS training via NIHStrokeScale.org within 48 hours of offer - REQUIRED.
- Active RN license in Maryland.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA.
- COVID vaccination - no declinations accepted. Please include vaccination status in submission notes.
- Ability to provide 2 supervisory references: 1 from within the last 6 months and 1 from the last 12 months.
