Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment DurationThis is an 18-week contract position, starting on October 6, 2025.
Schedule / ShiftNight shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:30 - 08:00). Every other weekend required.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a busy maternity setting. This role involves working directly with obstetrical patients, assisting with deliveries, and providing necessary care and interventions during labor and postpartum.
Responsibilities- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Monitor and assess patient conditions through effective use of electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Active MD RN license (or compact license)
- Current certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
- Minimum of 1-year labor and delivery experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
