Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night Emergency Department position requiring a current MA RN license, tele experience, and specific certifications.
Responsibilities
- Works in the Emergency Department setting with floating between locations required
- Night shift position with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend rotation is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Serves a diverse emergency patient population
- Must provide emergency nursing care and function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Study material for tele test provided upon assignment confirmation
- Must cover every other weekend as scheduled
- Adheres to all required vaccination and health screening protocols
- Teamwork and strong communication required for interdisciplinary care
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of tele experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC
- Pass/fail tele test administered on first day; passing is required to continue assignment
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Must not have worked in any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the previous 6 months
- Local candidates not accepted; must live at least 50 miles from facility
- Flu vaccine required for new staff starting 9/2; declinations not accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required; medical exemptions accepted
