Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 38-bed multi-specialty ICU position in Boston requiring a MA RN license, 2 years of ICU and telemetry experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a multi-specialty 38-bed ICU in a hospital environment
  • Night shifts are 12 hours with every other weekend and every other holiday required
  • Care for critically ill adult patients, including telemetry monitoring
  • Level 1 Trauma hospital setting
  • Responsible for comprehensive ICU nursing care including assessment, intervention, education, and care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and support leadership initiatives as needed
  • Work with a collaborative and dedicated nursing team
  • Onsite testing is required on day one
  • Monthly parking fees apply for onsite parking
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Holiday coverage required per unit guidelines
Requirements
  • Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years recent RN ICU experience required
  • Telemetry experience required, including independent reading and interpretation of rhythm strips
  • Must pass Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia test
  • Degree in Nursing: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must provide 2 professional references, one from a manager and recent performance evaluations
  • Basic computer proficiency required
  • Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
