Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position, requiring ICU background and Epic proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a hospital float pool setting, covering ICU and PCU units
- Night shift schedule from 7p-7a, totaling 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
- Will float between ICU and PCU as needed
- Trauma Level I facility experience preferred, though Trauma Level II may be considered
- Uses Epic EMR system; prior Epic experience required
- No on-call requirements
- Responsible for providing critical care nursing in both ICU and PCU settings as assigned
- Must be comfortable adapting to a variety of unit environments and teams
- Holiday coverage may be required per hospital needs
- Dress code requires scrubs appropriate to hospital guidelines
- First day tele test is mandatory and pass/fail
- Candidates may only be considered for one Lahey position at a time
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
- ASN or higher in nursing required
- 2-5 years of ICU experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Must pass a tele test on the first day; failure may result in termination
- COVID vaccine and booster required at time of consideration
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are allowed
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles away (no locals allowed)
- Cannot have worked for any Beth Israel facility in any capacity within the past 6 months
