Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 36 hrs/week guaranteed | Every other weekend | Possible On-Call

Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, MI. The Stepdown RN will use clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. This role supports patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions, including those recovering from cardiac procedures and surgeries.

Unit Overview:

• Care for a high volume of cardiology patients annually, including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers

• Support open-heart surgery patients within the first 18–24 hours post-op

• Specialize in congestive heart failure and electrophysiology cases

• Participate in advancing care quality through clinical research and innovation

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of recent Stepdown experience – Required

• Proficiency in Cardiac Care – Required

• Travel RN experience – Required

• EKG competency – Required

• Willingness to float to similar units – Required

• Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA) – Required

Assignment Highlights:

• 12-hour night shifts

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Every other weekend required

• Possible on-call
