We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to support our IR/Special Procedures department. What You'll Do:

As a vital member of our team, you'll assist with a variety of procedures including IV placements for outpatients requiring IV access for CT scans, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other pre/post sedation procedures like biopsies, nephrostomy and feeding tube placements, and abscess drains. You'll also have the opportunity to place PICC lines (experience preferred). Your expertise in moderate sedation medication administration and IV insertions, combined with attentive pre- and post-procedure care, will ensure patients receive safe and efficient treatment. You'll utilize equipment such as EPIC/Radiant, Philips patient monitors, and SonoSite ultrasound, documenting carefully in a dynamic clinical environment.

Required Skills:

• Active MN RN license
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (per AHA standards)
• Minimum 3 years recent radiology experience with moderate sedation
• Proficiency in IV and midline insertions
• Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures preferred
• Ability to perform IV placements, biopsies, thoracentesis, and other interventional procedures
• Strong documentation skills in EPIC/Radiant and manual monitoring systems
• Excellent patient assessment and procedural skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience with PICC line placement
• Knowledge of hospital equipment like Philips patient monitors and SonoSite US
• Familiarity with hospital policies around sedation and peri-procedural care

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of recent radiology and IR procedural experience
• Prior experience in a hospital setting supporting interventional radiology procedures

Other Requirements:

• Candidates must reside within 80 miles of the facility (local rate applies)
• Must be registered with the MN Board of Nursing (please upload proof with license)
• No weekends, no call, and no floating to other units
• 8-hour daytime shifts (8:00 am - 4:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5:00 pm)
• Dress code: hospital provider blue or Ceil Blue scrubs
• One week of orientation/start training based on experience prior to shift start
