American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring night shifts and a MO or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Position is in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shift, 3x12 hours (1900-0700), with every other weekend required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Typical patient ratio is 1:5
- Uses Epic EMR, with Epic experience highly preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Must wear any matching, solid color scrubs
- All required modules are completed during orientation
- Must provide a copy of driver’s license and Social Security number
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff must be gone for one year before returning as a traveler
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with application
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower rate
- Active MO or compact RN license in hand prior to start (pending license accepted at time of consideration)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
- References required for consideration
- Epic charting experience preferred
