Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Lewistown, MO
Assignment: 13 weeks | Start Date: 10/13/2025 | Shift: 8-hour Days, Monday–Friday (start time flexible between 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM; 35 hours/week)

Job Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lewistown, MO. The SLP will evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Screen, evaluate, and provide evidence-based treatment for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

• Develop individualized plans of care in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed; document outcomes accurately in the electronic system

• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers

• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings

• Obtain necessary DME or supplies per clinical requirements

• Supervise and support CFY or student SLPs

• Adhere to ASHA and state licensure regulations, professional ethics, and practice standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of SLP experience – Required

• Experience in LTC or Rehab – Required

• Active MO State License – Required

• CCC-SLP Certification – Required

• New graduates are eligible with Level II experience (observation-only Level I experience not sufficient)

Assignment Highlights:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday

• Flexible start time between 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM, as long as consistent and communicated

• 35 hours per week
