Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work evening shift Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 14-week assignment length
• No call requirements
• Float only within same department as needed for call-ins
• Work with 35 beds in radiology department
• 1:1 patient ratio
• GE Revolution Ascend equipment
• EPIC EMR system
• Must wear black scrubs only
• Evening shift orients on day shift and must be available entire week
• Required certifications: Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT, BLS from AHA only
• At least 1 year CT Tech experience in hospital setting required
• Must have X-ray experience
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1-April 1
• Provide diagnostic CT scans for ER, inpatient and outpatient populations
• Perform venipuncture for CT contrast administration
• Operate pressure injector for contrast injections
• Conduct CTA/stroke studies including 3D reconstruction
• Apply radiation safety principles
• Transmit images and troubleshoot teleradiology systems
