RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with auto-offer position
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 on 26-bed unit
• Float on rotational basis to critical care cluster or med/surg
• Care for neuro, trauma, alcohol withdrawal, respiratory distress, and insulin drip patients
• Work with Philips monitors, chest tubes, arterial lines, wound vacs, drains, EVDs, Nicom, BIPAP, and Airvo equipment
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 1 year ICU inpatient experience required
• Current RN license eligible for Missouri state licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
• Dress code requires black scrubs only
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift with full week availability required
• RTO must be made up on back end and not approved in first week
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1
• Must be team player with ability to provide direct patient care for all age groups
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients
