RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment with flexible guaranteed hours of 36 or 48 hours per week (must be indicated on submission)
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Block schedule cannot be accommodated
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC; NIHSS (may be submitted without but must obtain prior to start)
• Current Missouri RN license required or eligible for Missouri licensure
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 trauma facility OR 2 years in a Level 2 trauma facility (must be indicated on resume)
• Must have at least one year of RF experience
• Work in busy urban trauma center with 11-bed emergency department
• Typical patient ratio 4:1, though surge and other circumstances may alter ratios
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Work with equipment including ultrasound, X-ray, and CT
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Required dress code: black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 - April 1
• RTO must be made up on the back end and will not be approved in first week of assignment
