Travel Occupational Therapist – Western Montana – 5x8s Day Shift

Position Overview:

  • Title: Travel Occupational Therapist

  • Location: Near Deer Lodge, MT

  • Schedule:Monday – Friday, 5x8s

  • Shift:Day Shift

  • Setting: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

  • Start Date: Within the next month

  • Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat residents to promote independence in activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans for patients in a SNF setting

  • Provide adaptive equipment training and home safety education

  • Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and caregivers for comprehensive care

  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with facility policies and state/federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license – Montana or compact eligible

  • Minimum of 1 year of OT experience in a long-term care or SNF setting

  • Strong understanding of geriatric rehab needs

  • Proficiency in EMR systems preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills
