Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week post-acute care assignment primarily in a SNF setting, with BLS certification and at least one year of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) with approximately 80% SNF and 20% home health cases
- Assignment spans multiple buildings with primary location at St John's and some coverage at St Luke's and Kearney Home Health
- Care setting is post-acute with both SNF and home health environments
- Flexible schedule: Monday-Friday, with potential for Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Sunday shifts
- Eight-hour day shifts
- Use of Net Health SNF for SNF documentation and HCHB for home health
- Role includes supervising one PTA and working alongside a primary PT for home health cases
- Productivity expectations are 80% for SNF and 95% for home health
- Therapy supervisor is onsite for support
- New graduates are considered for this assignment
- No on-call or call back duties are required
- Local rates apply within 80 miles or when using provided housing
- Day shift dress code is not specified
Requirements
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work in both SNF and home health settings
