Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification to provide imaging services in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital CT department with 4 dedicated CT rooms and access to additional imaging modalities
• Patient population and imaging studies are varied across CT, Xray, OR, Endo, and ED areas
• Utilizes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice CT scanners
• Charting is performed in Epic with PACS system McKesson
• 12-hour day shifts (07:00-19:30), with 3 shifts per week and weekend commitment every third weekend
• Rotating weekday on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float and cover CT, XR, OR, Endo, and ED as needed
• Job duties include performing a wide range of diagnostic CT and Xray procedures in various hospital departments
• Department values flexibility, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn
• One to two shifts of orientation provided
• Holiday and varied weekend coverage is required
• Radiation badge provided
• Scrubs or dress code information not specified; confirm prior to start
• Candidates must not have been employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility; candidates may not work at affiliated facilities in any capacity
• Only up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted per 13-week contract
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or in X-ray and CT positions
• Valid ARRT (CT) certification and BLS certification required
• Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Experience operating GE CT scanners required
• Proficiency using Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred
• Driver’s license required to verify eligibility per 50-mile radius rule
• Must provide 2 professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
