Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech Therapist for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities
  • Work in an acute care hospital setting within the Speech Therapy department
  • Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Provide evaluation and treatment to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Facilitate patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Must comply with facility policies and dress code
  • First-time travelers are eligible for consideration
Requirements
  • Valid speech therapy license required if applicable
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months of recent experience within the last 6 months in this role
  • No gaps in work history equal to or greater than 90 days within the past 12 months
  • Current AHA or ARC certification required, with no certification expiring within the first 30 days
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • Submission must include application, full SSN and DOB on a Word document, and a complete profile with skills checklist and references
