Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and ARRT registration to perform diagnostic imaging in a busy acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work within an acute care hospital in a department supporting Level II Pediatric Trauma
• Serve in a facility with 396 beds and seven acute care locations across Vermont and New Hampshire
• Flex schedule with 36-40 hours per week and rotating weekends
• On-call responsibilities are included
• Perform a range of radiologic exams with patient pre-exam, intra-exam, and post-exam documentation
• Duties include performing and documenting all phases of X-ray exams, maintaining department cleanliness and managing inventory
• Must participate in maintaining the workflow of the radiology department and aid in clerical tasks as assigned
• Work environment includes a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• No local candidates will be considered due to the 75-mile radius rule
• License must remain active for the duration of the assignment

Requirements

• Completion of a Radiologic Technology program
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT
• Active BLS certification is required
• Registered with the New Hampshire Board of Registration for Medical Technicians
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
• Knowledge of standard radiologic terminology
• Active license required if applicable
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
